It's not like Advertising is rocket science...but it's a helluva lot more invigorating. Vicki Sloot should know, she left her Astrophysics degree at McMaster University to rock a career in Ads. The table-top in the sky called to her, and off to OCAD she skipped. Once at OCAD Vicki cut her artistic teeth on cracking design and typography - she ended up top of her class. It made Mom proud. Then, Go East young woman, so East she went, b'y, all the way to Newfoundland to intern with Target Marketing as an Art Director. After The Rock, she came home to Toronto to go through boot-camp at B-Street Communications doing promos for Burger King, Weston Bakery, and a little company called Coca-cola (to name a few).
